I started working for myself many years ago having served my apprenticeship along with Ged at our local Ford Dealership. It was while I was there that I gained a full range of skills, including customer interaction, parts gathering and ordering, reception duties and workshop control. Towards the end of my 10 year stint at Ford I became team leader overseeing 6 technicians, a role that I thoroughly enjoyed. From there I needed a new challenge and had 8 great years working for Hotpoint repairing and maintaining their large fleet of cars and company vans. It was while I was there I found an opportunity to work for myself and it was then I started my own garage bringing with me a great portfolio of customers i'd built up along the way. I'm now 10 years into my current business where we are constantly pushing and striving to meet the changing world of good customer service needs and requirements.
Donna. Service Advisor
Donna started working with us on 01-03-2011
Previous to working for us Donna worked in the care industry, firstly as a health care assistant, moving on to becoming a care co-ordinator, health and safety risk assessor, NVQ Level 3 for 17 years. She came to us bringing with her a knowledge of excellent customer communication, organisation and a list of other skills. Donna's job roles include the day to day running of our business, from greeting customers, answering our busy phones, pricing work, estimateds and quotations, ordering parts from our suppliers through to the collection and delivery of cars. Her tasks vary daily which always keeps her busy, this is something she thrives on. If there are any repairs you require a quotation on, please give her a call, she will be happy to help.
Ged. Main Technican
Ged started with us on 31-07-2008 as one of our main technicians. He left his previous employers where he was chief quality controller and vehicle inspector for a large Renault leasing company in Corby. Ged served his apprenticeship at our local Ford Dealership the same as myself where he also worked for 10 years. Ged enjoys meeting and talking with our customers and has a great rapport with them. He is fully trained in Air Conditioning, servicing and repairs.
Darren. Chief MOT inspector
Darren started with us as our chief MOT inspector on the 15-09-2008. His duties include the day to day running of all aspects of MOT inspections. He interacts very well with all of our customers. Prior to working with us Darren served his apprenticeship with Hyundai before moving on to further his experience with a Renault dealership and it was there he decided he wanted to become an MOT tester. Darren is fully skilled in vehicle servicing, repairs and Air Conditioning.
